Max and Kyler embark on a fun-filled journey, learning to understand and manage their big feelings like worry and anger. Through empathy and creativity, they find calm, brave ways to tackle their emotions.
Max is a vibrant 5-year-old boy with a unique blend of Italian, Korean, and Mexican heritage. He has bright, curious eyes and a love for playful adventures.
Kyler is a fun-loving boy with cornrow hair and a lightly tanned complexion. He enjoys adventurous activities like bike riding and loves splashing around in pools.

Max and Kyler were playing in the park when Max suddenly felt worried about the dark clouds in the sky. Kyler noticed, and asked Max why he was worried, showing care and understanding.

To help, Kyler thought of a story about brave explorers who chased away stormy clouds. Max loved the idea and began to feel more at ease, imagining himself as a hero.

The boys decided to be explorers, running around the park pretending to tackle the storm. Max laughed loudly, feeling brave and strong next to his supportive friend.

Later, they rested under a tree, feeling accomplished. Max told Kyler he felt grateful for having such a caring friend, and Kyler beamed with joy.

As they walked home, Max and Kyler realized that they could face big feelings together. Every day brought a new adventure, and with it, the chance to grow braver and kinder.
Understanding and expressing feelings in positive ways can help us empathize with others.
