Frequently asked questions
Where exactly does our logo appear?
In the credits block of every PDF generated while your sponsorship is active: the personalized story PDFs families download from the builder and the free printable social-story PDFs served from our landing pages. Printable PDFs pick up new sponsors at the next site deploy, usually within a few days.
Who sees it?
Mostly parents, special-education teachers, speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists, largely in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK, who arrive from Google looking for free social stories. PDFs get printed and reused in classrooms and clinics, so one download is often read many times.
Is it tax-deductible?
Sponsorships are donations to Opportunity Hack Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity, and are acknowledged with your name, logo and website only. We do not endorse products or services, and Givebutter emails a receipt for every payment.
Can we cancel?
Monthly sponsorships can be cancelled any time from the Givebutter receipt email; your logo stays up through the paid period. One-month and annual sponsorships are single payments.
What do you decline?
Anything not appropriate next to children's stories: alcohol, gambling, political campaigns, adult products, and anything misleading. We may ask for a different logo if yours doesn't print legibly.
